Brick+
Brick+ is an interactive art installation exploring responsive low-tech media façades. The goal of the project was to design an architectural element that uses low-tech electronics to respond to the information environment in subtle means. Brick+ is a small section of a brick wall in which I embedded a matrix of LEDs in the mortar masonry. One of the "bricks" holds an ultrasonic range sensor that detects nearby movement to control the brightness of LEDs.
